Portrait of the genealogist as a young man

Hi Just put an IP address in to whoisit and come up with a blacklisted ISP/IP. I don't understand. The user is on BT dial up (Narrow band IP Pool) and came in via a Yahoo search. Any explanations, please Gadget PS They've been in and out all evening Where are Bob, Falkyrn, Julian when ya need them, eh My understanding is these listings are based on very broad-brush analyses, especially in relation to e-mails. My ISP sometimes sends me a message to say they have a mail which might or might not be "dodgy", and asking me if I want to see it. Google Mail also has something similar.
As long as you have an in-bound/out-bound firewall (such as Zone Alarm free, rather than the default Windows Firewall) and other protection measures such as Anti-Virus and Spyware, I wouldn't be too worried. But that's me!

Thanks both.
It was just my website that they were looking at so
I don't have a guest book having read all your stuff. My contact e-mail is hidden via a form. I use gmail and yahoo mail. I have firewall and antivirus and spyware.

Hi all,
I'm not wanting to read through 10 pages so here's a link to a brilliant tracker I use on sites I make for customers that want to see who is accessing their sites when and where from.
http://extremetracking.com/
Its great and free. Best place I find to place it is on the intro/splash screen. In other words, have one main page that loads when visitors first visit your site then let them click a link to get taken to the home page. Have the tracker on that page.
Here's an example on a website I made for a friend: http://www.braeside.biz
If you click the small globe at the bottom of the splash screen you'll see it in action.
