can any one help me find info on a william constable c1801. have him on the 1851 census:
william constable b st peters hert c1801   farm lab
betsy constable   b north mimms hert c1802
william constable b north mimms c1830
emma constable b north mimms c1834
james constable b north mimms c1837

i can't find any thing previous to this
any help would be great

Found 'em on the 1841. 

HO107/442/1  F.35 P.14. Fog Lane, Roestock, N.Mimms.
William Constable  40  Ag Lab
Betsey Constable  40
Diana (?) 13   -   William 11 Ag lab   -   Emma 6   -   James 4.
All born in county.
Adult ages rounded down to nearest 5.

Hi Christine.

The IGI records the eldest daughter as Dinah Anne Constable christened 31 August 1828 at North Mimms.

Hi Christine,

I have the 1841 on disc but it is not indexed.  Found your family by ploughing through the entries for N.Mimms.
I understand that certain portions of the county were omitted from the indexed version.
