Could someone please lookup Charlotte SMITH, born in Prestbury around 1834.

I don't have these resources myself, but I wonder whether you have posted in the best place?   Huh

Do you think she was born in Prestbury and moved to Herefordshire?  I may be wrong (it has been known!!!) but I don't think there is a Prestbury in Herefordshire.  Nearest I can think of is Preston on Wye.

Try Gloucestershire (which I think came under Herefordshire diocese, fom a website I just looked at) or Cheshire.

So can anyone see a Charlotte SMITH born in Bosbury in around 1834?

I looked through Bosbury in 1851 and found just one Charlotte SMITH (though the images are none too clear).

She is about the right age (15); and has some siblings with less common names (Sidney, Abel, Dinah) - if your Charlotte later had children with some of these names, that would firm up the match considerably.

The family is split over 2 pages; I'm pretty sure the place is "Fox Hill" but like the rest that's a bit unclear.

living at southfield orchard,bosbury,herefordshire in 1841

also living there is a richard kendrick masons apprentice aged 11yrs

think the ages were mistranscribed on later cencus especially sidneys lol
