I have an ancestor George Jackson (1792-1867) married to Sarah Lucy ? (1793-1872). He was a minister of the Methodist Church, Rose Street, Wokingham at the time of his death, and both were buried at Wokingham Baptist Church. I am trying to get a lead on the maiden name and birth place of Sarah Lucy and a Lookup of the 1861 census may show enough detail to help me. Can anyone help please?

Roger,
At the Berkshire REcord Office today I was looking for information for your Rev Jackson of Wokingham Methodist Church, there are no separate surviving records relating to this church other than some registers but not for the years you need.
I did find a M.I. for you and hope that helps I have recorded it exactly as it was shown in TT49 at the Berkshire Record Office.
Wokingham Baptist Church Burial Ground, Milton Road, Wokingham.
Rev.George Jackson and Sarah Lucy Jackson,
Grave 95 (There is also a plan of the Grounds I may be able to get you a copy)
S/TT/MO The/Rev.George Jackson/ Wesleyan Minister/who died at Wokingham/July 13th 1867/ In the 76th year of his age/And the 51 of his Ministry/I know whom I believed/Timothy 1.12/Also/ Sarah Lucy/Wife of the Above/who died at Brixton London April 26th 1872/Aged 79 years.

I checked the 1861 census for you yesterday, I checked all of Rose Street, not listed there. Do you have any other address, it's not indexed. happy to look again
