elizabeth kirk born 23 aug 1834 and james smith b 1828 monaghan ireland =  their children were :-
william smith b 24 dec 1852 - looking for his marriage.
john smith b 5 jan 1855        _     same
elizabeth smith b 27 mar 1857 - married john mathieson
mary smith b 3 apr 1859 - married john scott
lilias smith b 9 mar 1864 - married john flannigan
james smith b 21 mar 1866 - looking for his marriage
michael smith b 3 may 1868 -   same
agnes wilson pillans kirk smith b 19 jan 1872  - same
robert wilson smith b 1 july 1874 -                   - same
hugh smith b 10 march 1874 - same
alexander smith b 1877 - same
david smith b 11 mar 1870 - married annie cassie

any help with those would be great - thanks bambie

36 High Street, Auchterderran

James, aged 50, Coal miner  born Ireland, Elizabeth, aged 46, born Auchterderran
plus 8 children (ages from 26 to 4 ) and 2 boarders. All children born Auchterderran and no other James and Elizabeth Smith there.

If you go to Scotlands People

www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk

you will be able to find  marriages, births and possible deaths.

It's pay to view but very reasonable.

hi there - got all the census for my smith's at scotlandpeople - but they only go till 1901 - was hoping I could contact someone on rootshat that maybe a descendant of them - to find out whom they married - but thanks for your reply - kind regards bambie
