Any suggestion re: PRs
« on: Wednesday 20 September 06 15:27 BST (UK) »

Hi everyone,

Can anyone suggest where I might look for a baptism for someone born in the Whitwick/Thringstone area, first years of the nineteenth century? I.e. pre-1813?
No sign of them in the Whitwick registers. The more suggestions the better!
                       thanking you in advance
                                             Best wishes

Have you looked in the nearby parishes?

Coleorton, Swannington, Ravenstone, Hugglescote are the obvious ones.

If you let me have the names, I'll keep a ook out when I next go to Coalville library.

Hi Jan,
Thanks for your input.  I really appreciate the suggestions. If any more come to mind, please let me know and I will write them down in my 'to do' notes for next summer. I know how valuable research time is, my day at Wigston sped by, so  please concentrate on your own work.
Many thanks for the kind offer, though
                             Best wishes
