just in case me being here is not just a figment of my own imagination  Grin
here are the children of robert hyde and sarah all baptised church knowle-
sarah bapt 24th nov 1833
louisa bapt 3rd july 1836
jane bapt 14th may 1847
thomas bapt 2nd jan 1853

this child is listed to robert and sally-
ann bapt 27th may 1838

This puts the cat among the pidgeons as Louisa is born 1836 I feel the John and Ann Hyde where Luiza / Louisa is born 1830 is the better of the two  Undecided don't know what to think.

Sadly nor do I  Huh

I had the 1836 one, with Sarah Burt and Robert Hyde as the parents, but someone has

1830 with obviously different parents.

I don't know about marriages in the mid C19th, but doubt she would have married at 14 to someone over 20 years her senior, and had a child at 15, think it must be the 1830 one.

Shame BMD started in 1837 and not 1830. I will have to use parish records I guess.  The FreeREG search engine will be available from this Saturday, but whether it has Dorset records available is another.

I cannot think how I can confirm this any other way  Cry

Well if you order the 1850 marriage that should have Louisa fathers name and you should be able to work her age out also all this should be a big help well worth ordering. Smiley

I thought of this as well last night.... though not as quick as you.

I have also asked the person on genesreunited how they arrived at the 1830 Louisa.

Either way, I should be able to confirm my Gt Gt and also Gt Gt Gt grandparents.
