Hi,

A note of caution....This picture will make you jump!!

This is my GGrandmother Quinlan from County Cork. We figure this picture was taken in the 1880's when she came to Boston to help care for my widowed GGrandmother's growing family.

Unfortunately, she passed away several months after she arrived.....

Adjusted the gamma settings and smoothed out some of the noise.

Here's my go - I stuck her in a brooch.  I don't think she looks scary at all - in fact I think she has a rather kindly looking face (a bit skeletal though because of the high contrast  Shocked )

Anyway, I like her  Smiley

I really like your choices of color.  My family thinks that she was in her latter part of her 60's when the picture was taken.  She has survived through the ages well.
