This looks like a useful site. BEWARE You have to pay to add a surname. This probably explains why there are so few names on the list. There are probably many similar sites asking you to add something and charging a fee for the addition. If you come across one you will be assisting fellow searchers if you post details of the site. Unlike Million Surnames.com posting such information on RootsChat is Free. The website does say "a large proportion of the profits of this website will be donated away to charities." It does not specify the charities but if you wish to make charitable donations in this manner there are addresses enabling you to contact the people running the site and ask which charities they are supporting. Note .. the word away after donated .. Would you say "donated away" or just say "donated to"?
