I have a Mungo Manson Howat born 29 October 1846 Ochiltree - is this the one you are looking for?

Hi Angie

The IGI lists these children born to Mungo Howat and Jane Richmond (assuming these are the right couple).  These folks are listed as the parents of the John born in Ochiltree in 1855 and according to that registration he was their 7th child with 1 daughter deceased, 1 daughter living, 5 boys living at that time.
