Hi Dotty

I have noticed the name William Bryer in a reply to your query about the 1841 census. I was wondering if the childs name was William Bryer or William Bryer Myers? I have copies of correspondence between my great Uncle and great Grandfathers whom were Bryer's and in one letter they mention an Aunt by the name of Myers but I have not been able to find a connection. Do you know anything about this William or any connection with the Bryer family?

I don't think I can help.I  haven't done a vast amount on this family ,my connection is through a John Jackson from Ambleside marrying Mary Myers around 1820.I will get back to you if I do find anything

The IGI has a William John BRIAR bap 15 Aug 1830 at Millom, son of William and Mary.

Also a marriage, 29 June 1819 at Muncaster, William BRYER to Mary MYERS, so in 1841 he and Mary (6) were probably grandchildren of John MYERS.
