1851 Census Linlithgow
« on: Saturday 30 September 06 12:40 BST (UK) »

Can anyone help with a 1851 search of the Linlithgow Census for a Patrick McKENNA b. c1826 Tyrone,  Ireland aka Patrick McCANNIE, McKANA & McKENNER.
He should be with spouse Susan CARROLL b.1830 Ireland aka Susan CARLE, CARL, CAROL & McCARROLL.
There may also be a son James b.Linlithgow c1851.

Thanks.

PS No luck on Scotland's People.

And - children to the couple  - from the IGI - searched from 1840 to 1880 in both Scotland and Ireland.  All counties search done.

Susans surname spelt either, Carl, Carol, Carle, McCarroll.  Children all born Linlithgow, West Lothian

John McKenna  b.  19 Jul  1856
Mary Ann Mckenna  b.  08 Feb 1859
Peter Mckenna  b.  05 Nov 1863
Bernard McKenna  b.  16 Jan 1866
Bernard Mckenna b.  22 May 1867  (I'd assume the first Bernard died ?)

All 'extracted' entries which means that for £6,  all birth entries can be downloaded from www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk.  No sign of James on the IGI?

Good luck with the searching.  Regards,   Steve  :O)
