James Anderson Emmott - Dover 1863

James Anderson Emmott was one of my ancestors who got about a lot. In December 1863 he fathered a daughter, Lilley, in Snargate Street, Dover and I have a receipt from a coalmerchant in Sheerness dated June 1862 for the delivery of half a ton of best coal (for 9 shillings !!) but there is no address given. He later returned to his home town of Bradford but if anybody in Kent can give me any information about his life in Kent and anything further on Lilley I would be most grateful. I believe he may have been working for Pickfords at the time.
