Hi Maureen,

You have two options:

1) View the actual death entry at the LDS centre for a small fee

2) Place the wee order with the Family Ulster, www.familyulster.com, where they will do a transcription service for 4 pounds.

Kind regards,

Tees

Hello Tees

Thanks for your reply.

I had  a look at the familyulster site and will send off for a copy of the certificate, £4 is a good price.

Thanks again  Maureen

Hi Maureen,

You are more than welcome!

Are you aware that you will be getting a transcribed record of the death, not a copy?

If you are seeking an actual copy of the death entry, you would have to order it from the Irish GRO for 6 euros.

Here's the website: www.groireland.ie and get an application form and you just post it off.

Indeed, the prices are reasonable on the Family Ulster.

Kind regards,

Tees

Maureen

Yes, Maureen, the transcribed record contains the same information as the actual certificate gives.

Do let us know how you get on with the Family Ulster.

Kind regards,

Hello Tees

I've received the transcription I was after from familyulster.

My gr/grandfathers eldest child, she was only four and died from
Bronchitis and Measles in 1871.

All those years ago but I did feel sad.

Thanks again for the link, it was worth the £4

Hi Maureen,

Glad you get the transcribed death entry.

Please accept my condolences for your great-grandfather's sister's passing.

Kind regards,

Tees
