When does Ann marry?
There is an Ann Alderson age 31, serv, unm, Cook, b. Skeeby
in service at North Stainley (Old Kenningford Hall) in 1871. Head of household is Anne Elizabeth Staveley, wid, 49, Landowner, b. France (12 servants for this lady and her 2 daughters )

dear TATI Ann moved to a large shooting estate near where I stay , namely girvan ayrshire she married my g.g.grandfather alexander mclaren in1875 in kirkmichael ayrshire I often wondered how a country girl arrived to ayrshire from yorkshire in those far off days and i suppose some laird from the big hoose in kirkmichael would be visting or shooting at his friends house in this case sedbury hall and perhaps she returned with him to scotland kind regards alex
