What info is likely to be on the death cert ?

Buried in section d of San Antonio Cemetery, Texas

His brother Thomas placed a headstone, but Thomas was back in Scotland by 1881.

If you already know the cemetery in San Antonio, try contacting them for a copy of the internment card. It ususally gives the name, birthdate, death date, possibly the parents names, who bought the plot, and maybe the cause of death. It's a lot cheaper than ordering a certified copy of the death certificate.---Genealiza
