Dear Rootschatters,
I have just posted this somewhere bizarre, hope the moderators forgive me!! Anyway here goes again.
I am looking for anyone with interests in the name Folkes in Falmouth. My connection is with Frederick Folkes who was a seaman in 1912 in Falmouth and was married to Ethelinda Burton. I am also looking for anyone with connections to her sister Emma Creba Burton who married Arthur Blake,a seaman on the same ship the 'Foudroyant'. Also anyone with Burton interests, but not the family that ran the 'Old Curiosity Shop'. I think we were the only other ones there at the time(maybe!!)!! Anyway it is a long shot but heres hoping.
