Brickwall - Jonathan VERNEY, Netteswell

I have a brick wall looking for the birth/christening of Jonathan Verney who is fairly consistent throughout the census in claiming to be born in Netteswell, Essex.

1841 - HO107/5/30/6 Page 6 in Humbershoe, Beds aged 30
1851 - HO107 1757/237 Page 4 in Humbershoe, Beds aged 41
1861 - RG9 829/22 Page 3 in Hemel Hempstead, Herts aged 67?!!!
1871 - RG10 1386/58 Page 3 in Hemel Hempstead, Herts aged 63

Looks as if he forgot how old he was later in life, but I suspect he was born 1810 +/- a couple of years and he is consistent with Essex in all but 1841.  I've checked the images at SEAX for Harlow but can't see him there.  Has anyone any ideas as to where he might have been baptised and what records are available.

Hi Jean,
Intrigued by Jonathan's odd age in 1861, I've looked at the census image and I think it is actually 51 if you compare it with other 5s and 6s on the page.
