Hi there again Margj

"i am trying to find any information on my dad william banks. he was born april 1886 and died in 1971 i beleive he was one of 13 children and came from the farr moor area of orrell wigan lancashire. i know he had a brother called richard and one called eli"

Have just looked on the 1891 census for Lancashire and there are 156 people called William Banks living in Lancashire.

If your William was born April 1886, depending on which side of the census he was born he would be 4 or 5 years of age at the time of that census.

There are NO 5 year olds listed – but there are 7 william’s aged 4 – but unfortunately none of them fit the details that you provided.

Were Richard and Eli older or younger than William – any idea on the christain names of their parents.

If you can provide any further info, will have another look for your ancestors.
