hi
would there be any directories that would tell me who was living at 26 shortride st  south shields in 1906,
charles webber died there in 1906 , but in 1901 charles was living at saville st south shields and in 1915 his wife mary jane webber died at saville st,
so i am trying to find out what charles was doing at shortridge st when he died,
it gives 26 shortridge st as his address in  his will ,
so it is all very confussing.
any help would be appreciated

You could try Digital Library of Historical Directories
http://www.historicaldirectories.org/

However Directories only show the householder and not other members of the family, and not all households are listed.
