I've noticed a couple of people looking for the same surname as me, in the same area, is it ok to contact them? I'm sorry if this is a silly question but I'm not sure how it all works.

BTW, I noticed you have the name Barnes listed below your post - I don't suppose any have turned up in Nottinghamshire? I have an Ann Barnes of Farndon who married a Thomas John Toder at Bingham on February 19th, 1736 or 7.

The furthest north I've found my BARNES is Hatfield, Herts.
