trying to trace the Gallagher family from Letterkenny.  i know very little about them , but they are import to us as my brothers family .


father   Francis  Gallagher ( Blacksmith  in letterkenny)

mother   ??         Mulholland (died c.1917)
  children in no date order

Patrick Joseph Gallagher   1915 ish letterkenny  and Burried in letterkenny 1979ish

George Gallagher  1917 ish

Frances Gallagher
Margaret Gallagher
Mary Gallagher
Kathleen Gallagher


all family catholic.

I'm afraid thats all we know , patrick came to England  married Audrey Isobel Nicholson  in York in the war years ................. later was a blacksmith in sedbergh Yorkshire/westmorland border area, lived and died in kendal cumbria (westmorland)

i do realize i am asking a lot here ,  but ever hopeful. even some pointers in the right direction  as not researched irish roots before .
