wharton brunskill??
« on: Wednesday 11 October 06 23:17 BST (UK) »

Hi, not sure if I have asked this before as I have put a lot of posts on this site!! but here goes. Am looking for any info on Wharton Brunskill born approx. 1745. He married Ann and they had 6 children that I know of, all born in Kirkby Stephens. Cannot find him on IGI and don't know where else to look. Many thanks. Cass

Hi Cass

I have Wharton Brunskill as the son of John Brunskill 1694-1773 and Isabell Wharton 1703- 1765.  John's parents were Robert 1665 - 1694 and Ann Morland abt 1665 - aft 1694.  John had a brother William 1696. Wharton had siblings Joshua 1725 and Ann 1726. Isabell Wharton's parents were William 1673 - 1731 and elizabeth cunningham abt 1680.  All above of Kirby Stephen.

Unfortunately I stupidly have not recorded where I found this information but I normally note if anything is speculation so I think it is probably accurate.

hi , don't you just put frederickay in the search space.
i would have thought all my postings would come up.
i have corresponded some time ago with a Glen brunskill in Canada ? i lost all my emails so i am not sure where we are related to the brunskills without looking up a lot of paper work . but my family of Wharton's married into cunningham ,
then eubank , brocklebank hine ,Lacey .
the family names are William Wharton ,
Joshua Wharton ,who left his property to William Dixon .
Robert milner Wharton , i am related to john milner Wharton
there is Richard cunningham Wharton .
you can see there is a thread .
if you put Kirby Stephan in google and get eve McLaughlin's site a whole world of Wharton's will open up. also the lds site .
i will look up my tree and confirm the brunskill / Wharton connection for you.

A2A. it is a archive in england . Put a2a into google and then work from there . you might even be able to put Cumbria records or Kendal . i think i put Kendal. Kendal is where they have all the records . i went there recently and other then them treating me like i was a  "great train robber" or that they were" Fort Knox" it is a great place. you will need more id. then if you were going to meet the Queen . worth it tho . jan
