hi to all
does anyone have acsess to glatton pr's if so could i please have a look up for any mention of the name eagle i have a thomas and a mary Huh

who married around 1724 and i need to be able to match them in with info i already have

this is a brick wall for me and has been for a while

my fingers are crossed that someone can help

You have a Family History Centre of the LDS in Peterborough in which you could have viewed the microfilm and probably demolished your brickwall ages ago!

Glatton PRs are also on the BVRI (of which the LDS will doubtless have a set in stock), but there are too many Eagles to list

Thomas Eagle married Maria Munns on 31 May 1724.

To summarise the rest

Thomas and Eleanor Eagle produced 4 children 1711-19
Eleanor was buried on 2 Nov 1719

Then there's the marriage to Maria above - there's no indication that Thomas was a widower, but detail was often lacking at this time, although it's quite a long gap to 1724 if it is the same Thomas.
Thomas and Maria baptised 4 children 1724-9,; Thomas, Mary, Henry, William

A Mary was buried on 13 March 1730

Then another Thomas marriage and more baptisms up to 1768 all with the father Thomas.

About 20 burials

If you can be a bit more specific with your problem I'll see if the BVRI might be able to solve it.

But your best bet is to pop round the corner to the LDS and consult the microfilm, where you'll get a copy of the original rather than a transcript which may not include that extra detail that you need!

thankyou for your help
it wasn't until after i sent out my plea that i read that i could go to peterborough library and look up the births and deaths for glatton the marraiges have been returned to hunts but it's a start so ill get on the case thanks so much for your help
