I would like an 1871 census lookup for hannah pottage born hutton's ambo c 1849.
surname has been spelt as portage & pollage on other records
she may have been  a servant

Hi haven't turned up Hannah as Pottage/Pollage
Is this a possible but married?

Living Mill street (west side) , Norton, East Riding Parliamentary borough of Malton

Hannah Suggitt- age 21- born Huttons ambo
Husband Richard Suggitt- 23- farm labourer- Slingsby

Haven't had a look at free bmd or anything to check but might be worth a look- maybe?

Woodydog - I have also been looking for Hannah, you just beat me to Sarah Ann on the other post  Grin
The marriage for Richard Suggitt was to Hannah Wray.
There is a death:
Hannah Pottage, age 22
York. Jun. qtr. 1868 Vol 9d page 21
This is all I can come up with?
