"John" is looking for a marriage around 1941, probably in Bedfordshire between Lilian Margaret STILLMAN (might have given ROLFE as an alternative name) and Francis George BOURNE.
Both are deceased and no living relatives to ask.
"John" is the oldest child of this marriage and was born in 1941 in Luton, Beds.
Francis was probably quite a lot older than Lilian, and might appear on the the 1901 census for the St Alban's area. Lilian was from London (!) possibly the east end.
Many thanks

There is a possibility that no marriage took place, but we wanted to check!
Any sign of Francis in 1901?

Have just double-checked 1939-1941 to no avail (including Bourn and George F or similar)
The only Francis George Bourne birth that I can spot (at all) is 1896 Hendon RD and he seems to go by the name of George in 1901:
1901 RG13/1229 62 13 Colney, Shenley, Hertfordshire Harper Lane Edward Bourne, head, 61, Farm Bailiff, b. Sussex Worth Phoebe, wife, 60, b. Herts Aldbury Mary, dau, s, 31, Dressmaker own acct at home, b. Herts Shenley George F, grandson, 5, b. Mddx Hendon
Does he look good to you?
Birth Francis George Bourne June quarter 1896 Hendon RD 3a 242
