Martha Buxton Garlick

I am trying to find the names of Martha Buxton's parents. She was born about 1765 in Mottram, Cheshire, England. She Married George Garlick on 24 Dec 1786. She died 29 Jun 1837. I would appreciate any help I can get.          Thanks,     Linda

Going purely off the Christian name of one of Martha and George's children, there is a marriage ...

James Buxton Twister M to Mary Egerton 14/12/1762
Prestbury.

I don't know if the 'M' stands for Mottram or not.

The only other marriage I could find close to the date of Martha's birth was..

Henry Buxton to Sarah Donnely 1/1/1765 Stockport

I don't know if this is any help or not.

Hi Brian,  George Garlick's father is John Garlick. I don't know George's mother's name. John Garlick's father is Joseph Garlick. John's mother is Elizabeth Woolley. This information can be found at www.familysearch.org. This might help if you don't already have these names.
