Not a only Canada resource, so putting it on here...it may come in handy for some of you. Even misnomers are included on his listings...

Hello all, I thought I'd put this up here in case someone wants a backdoor into the I.G.I... ( U.K.) You can use it directly, by going to the town, click on a parish listing and putting in the surname...

Or you can just copy the batch numbers and paste them into the batch# box on the I.G.I., and put the surname (or whole name of course) and it will only search that parish/town...(within that certain year span & category, thus referring to above)

There's always room for Resources of interest, so will add this..
It's from Chester, Eng. but probably covers a great deal of the economy
type of business, as well as names of occupations for many areas within this period....at the very least you'll find it most interesting...
