There is a Jackson SWEETING that fits your details on the 1841, 1861, 1871 and 1881 Census.  Do you have this information??  If not I can provide it for you, just let me know.

Mary Sweeting  25 Aug 1818 d/o Jackson and Eleanor Sweeting
Thomas Sweeting  30 Mar 1814 s/o Jackson and Eleanor
Violetta Sweeting  19 Feb 1821 d/o Jackson and Eleanor

And in Houghton sl Spring:

Jackson Sweeting  5 Jan 1817, of Hetton  s/o Jackson and Eleanor
