Thank to all for the help you have given,
Can anyone suggest where I might find the 2nd marriage of Ellen Kay (nee Lacey) I can’t find it in Canada, it was said that she may have married on the ship that she went out on, likewise her daughter Alice Kay I can’t find her 1st marriage! Perhaps she also married on board, maybe the same time as her mother.
I have looked for Alice Kay, & her younger brother Frederick William age 10 in the 1901 Canadian census 1891(under variations of given names & surnames) William wasn’t with his mother & stepfather O'Flaherty Maurice in1901, he didn’t die until about 1990! Could he have been with his married sister? , I think found his? Marriage in the index of Ancestry: Frederick Kay Spouse: Mabel Hespeth McKinnon, that looks like him. Any advice would be most welcome.
