Pusey & Butler
« on: Sunday 22 October 06 10:29 UTC (UK) »

I have a copy birth cert for my great grandmother Ellen Pusey who was born on the 15th April 1877 in Studdridge, Lewknor Uphill, Oxon. It shows her father as John Pusey and her mother as Charlotte Elizabeth (nee Butler). I've managed to ascertain that Ellen was one of five sisters (Anne, Mary, Elizabeth & Susan)  but unfortunately have drawn a blank when attempting to research any further back. Can anyone please point me in the right direction.

The oldest child of the marraige to Charlotte (as seen in 1881) must be wrong - she was shown as 11, but he's not yet married.
