I've only just recently started looking into my family but have got off to a good start.

But I am a little bit confused.

I've found my Dads grandmother (through some help on here, thank you) on RG13 2364 129 22 - this is the 1901 census (my great grandmother was Violet who's only 2.

On this list she has a sister called Maisy whose approx year of birth is 1888.  She's not on the families list on the 1891 census, so have done a search for her and cannot find her.

Do you think theres a reason for this? Would that have happened often?

Looks like she is Daisy in 1891 ...

I guess in one of the Census years, the Enumerator misheard ..

Thanks ever so much - you're a star!! For some reason, I can navigate through the census for info but when it comes to looking up births, deaths and marriages I always draw a blank so you just saved me so much time!!!

Its me who is confised ...

On 1891 Violet is with George & Alice, while Daisy is with James & Thurza.

On 1901 Maisey & Violet are with James & Thurza

are these families related , possibly both in Bedminster, & the children were being shared ? on census night.
