Has anyone any idea where police records would be held for Kent please, around 1860, possibly Chatham and surrounding areas

Hi Louisa,

Have a look at this Kent Police site. You may find that there is something on there for you. I think the HQ is in Maidstone and somewhere they should have the records of all who have served in the force.
