Hi
I am trying to trace my husbands family of Gittings/Gettings/Gittins lived in the Sedgley area of Staffordshire but orginally from the various census returns which  i have are from Shrewsbury ,Nesscliff?
One in particular is a William Gittins born1820
Any information i would be most grateful

In 1841 William has been indexed with others(not Gittins) but the "slash mark" on the image indicates he lived on his own i think
