LEA Family, Wellington, Salop

I am trying to track down ancestors of my GG Grandmother, Mary Ann LEA, born in July 1841. She was the daughter of Thomas LEA.

Unfortunately I have been unable to find out more regarding this family, and would appreciate any help anyone can offer.

This is the only match i can find in 1851 .Chetwynd,Shropshire.
H0107 Piece 1998 Folio 322 Page 10.

Thomas Lea,Head,37,Coachman,Brockton?,Shropshire.
Ann Lea,Wife,Lappington,Shropshire.
Thomas Lea.Son,11,Stanton,Shropshire.
Mary Lea,Dau,9,Brace Meole?
Emma Lea,Dau,7,Brace Meole?
Jane Lea,Dau,3,Wellington.
Francis Lea,Son,8m,Chetwynd.Shropshire

Ancestry has birthplace down for Mary and Emma as Bean Nicote but it looks more like Brace Meole to me and if you see below that would make sense.

Same family in 1841 Nobold,Meole Brace.
H0107/910/12 folio 31 Page 2.

Thomas Lea,25,Farmer.
Ann Lea,25.
Thomas Lea,1.

All born in County.

This looks hopeful, though I am surprised there are not more LEA families in the area. Shropshire seems to be one of the centres of the family name?

Certainly the dates look good, I guess I now need to verify a marriage for Thomas and Ann, and to identify the birth details of their children in order to be sure.

Youve misunderstood me there are loads of Lea families
in Shropshire.However the one i found above is the only match i can find for a  Father Thomas Lea daughter Mary born 1841.

mark pugh my great grandfather born dawley magna in shropshire-also my great grandmother mary ann pugh (nee lea) born in nobold, shropshire. their marriage took place in wolverhampton 1868. both eventually settled in chesterfield, derbyshire. mary ann lea is proving to be very elusive!! she lived a long and interesting life from what little i have read and heard about her from my brother.she died in 1942 aged 101!! a wonderful lady. maybe lea was not her maiden name! nobold does exist!
