~~~~~~~~ My grandfather immigrated to the Uk with his brother after WWII.
He moved to Lancaster Lancashire and retained his Polish Citizenship (and passport). His name was Leon Nagorksi.
His brother became a british citizen and changed his name to Tony North (not sure what his previous forename was).
My grandfather was born in Rytel Poland 8th July 1923 - he had two other brother who stayed in Poland.
As my grandfather died September 2003, i dont have any other details to search from, and as i dont speak or read polish - this is going to be a bit of a struggle. Dont know what his parents were called or where they were married etc.
Any help, anybody could give me would be greatly recieved. I have managed to research my grandmother's family back to the 1760's - so not a complete novice - but not sure where to start with this one.
Thanks
Theresa
