looking for birth or death details.....b1851 (from 1901 census) or any details re mother and father. Father shown as George on marraige certificate. Warwickshire/Worcestershire

your man obviously did not want to be found...  He is:
Andrew Maylin in 1901, aged 50, living Northfield (Birmingham), born Warwickshire
James A Malin in 1891 aged 40 living Grafton Manor, Worcs, born Stratfford
James Malen in 1881 aged  40 living Upton Warren, born Bromsgrove

All with the same wife (Jane)  and children.

I don't see him (or jane)  on the 1871 census nor any earlier ones.

I can't see any candidates for his father George either.
