I wonder if SKS with access to the 1841 Census could look up  John Kay or Key aged about 22yrs. Born in Shireoaks,Notts.1819.

Can't find him in Notts in 1841 so he could be resident  across the border in Derbyshire.

Parents Thomas and Mary Kay and he has an older brother Thomas. He may not be living at home of course.
