Can anyone help, my boyfriends father was called Andrej Starowicki, he came over to this country 1n 1949ish, he married sylvia and had son david, we are looking for any name sakes anywhere in the world, Andrej did escape from a camp so possibly all family members have been killed. Any help or info would be apreciated.

Hi Bellyboba,

Starowicki could be Polish or Ukrainian family name. First name -
Andrej favours Ukrainian origin (Polsih one would sound Andzhej). Do
you have any other bits of information?
Russian and Ukrainian language googling shows people with such a family name in
Ukraine.

Andrzej is Polish.

Starowicki = Polish.

Please give me an area or town.
