Bakeries- Ilford

Looking for whereabouts of a list or similar of bakers, confectioners, etc in the Ilford area 1900 onwards.  Looking for great grandfather WILLIAM R HILL- he was at time of 1901 census living 10 Stanley Road Ilford.

If you go to the website mentioned below, there is a link for an Essex directory of 1902 (and other years) which you can search online. It can be a bit slow and tedious but it may be just the thing to while away a bit of insomnia Wink. The text is a bit small but you can use a zoom button and the judicious use of a key word may minimise the number of hits you need to trawl through

I had a bit more time to search and found that you need to search '561' for the Trade directory page of bakers for all of Essex 1902
