Hi

Is there any person researching the Purdy family from Dig Street Ashbourne, Butrchers or Ashbourne in general.

Looking for information of William & Martha c abt 1860 had children, one being Thomas, who married a Mary and had several children and the son  that I am following at the moment who is still alive called Sydney Albert c 1918 he married  Dorothy May Brewin

Any help would be very much appreciated

William Purdey (Butcher Ashbourne) states on Census born Wirksworth, you  can
see his Bpt. 14.7.1832 son of James & Mary on

Item 1 Parish Registers and follow instructions.

1841 Census he is living with his Parents James & Mary in Southwingfield with siblings
George 7, Sarah 6,Emma 3, Eliza 1.

George & Sarah Jane were Bpt Wesleyan Cromford Circuit IGI Batch No. C0966641

I have a Charles Purdy who married Peggy Elizabeth Selby abt 1919, registered Barrow on Soar, March quarter.

I know Charles had a sister called Rebecca (aka Becky). 

My Nan used to visit her Aunt Lizzie & Charlie Purdy at Langley Mills.  This is all the information I have.
