Would like help Stanford Rivers , Essex

I would like to some help to find out more about the following family

Esther Jones born 1773
Esther Jones married Arthur Keyte on 19 April 1795 at Stanford Rivers, Essex
Esther's father was Stephen 

Now starts the assumption Stepehen born around 1740-50
Not sure where born but Esther and Stephen could have been born at Stanford Rivers, Essex. He could also have married about 1760-70 at Stanford Rivers.
Perhaps someone could give me a lead to go on.

Hi

There is a christening  for a Hester Jones on the IGI 9/1/1773 Stanford Rivers Essex father Stephen Jones.

There is also a marriage for a Stephen Jones to a Mary Bull 29/09/1761 at Stanford Rivers Essex.

There is also a christening  for a Stephen John 19/10/1762 at Stanford Rivers Essex fathers name Stephen John could be a sibling of Hesters.

Dont know if this is any help

I think that this is helpful as  there was some confusion on the spelling of Esther or Hester so it is quite likely this is the family I am tracing.

Hi Gwendoline,

I descend from the Jones of Stanford Rivers ( in fact from Stephen Jones, the brother of Esther ( Hester). Stephen Jones Snr ( married to Mary Bull) was born in 1722, Stanford Rivers, son of Henry Jones and Esther.

Mimosa was quite right in all her assertions.

Look forward to hearing from you about how you came to be researching this family. Its good to know that I am not on my own !!

Just a note to say I have been advised via this website that there is a burial record for Esther Keyte at St Mary the Virgin, Shenfield, Essex 6/3/1838 aged 65 which would fit with my Esther Keyte nee Jones. 
I wondered if Shenfield was possibly a known area to you and why she might be buried there.  i.e. family plot or something.
