Hello,
Can any one find the birth of a William Henry
born in Sligo in 1849.These are the only details
i have (clutching at straws me thinks).

Hello Mel,

Griffith's Valuation of Co. Sligo in 1858 shows several Henry families. There were nine Williams which might be worth a look ... if William was not named after his Dad or Grand Dad or if the family had emigrated prior to that date it could be a difficult search.

Hi Mel,
I have been doing research on my family (Lundy) and I think my great-grandfather was Dennis (Denis) Lundy of Aclare.  He married a Margaret (Margeret) Henry.  It is not clear whether or not William my have been Margarets' father.  Dennis and Margaret had a son, my grandfather, James Aloysius who was born 1869 or 1870 or 1872. 
I am sorry I don't have any dates for Dennis or Margaret that might help you zero in on William Henry.  I hope what little I have will help.  If you have anything on the Henry or Lundy family I would appreciate a heads up.

Hi Mel I do not know if this is your William.
William Henry Born 1849  Townland Drumcliff Co, Sligo
       This guy married Elisabeth Clyde in Scotland.
  They lived in Goven, Lanark Scotland.
          William Died on his birthday 1st Aug: 1926
Elisabeth Died on the 29th July 1926.
       They Married on the 15th Aug:  1873.

help.My William was born about 1845 and came over to England sometime between then and 1881.He married a Mary ? from Washington,Durham and had the following
children,James,John,Bridget,Mary,Thomas,Patrick and Joseph.Thats all i have for the mo.
