james kinghorn parents abraham kinghorn and margaret mcnab, either sleat, or strath inverness, james married isabella campbell in 1833 in strath inverness,
also sisters ann and elizabeth or betsey
if possible birth date for father abraham, and his parents
appreciate any information thank you

Interestingly, a check of the 1841 census index for the areas shows no instances of the surname. Did they all leave Skye before 1841?

many thanks, kinghorns as far as i know left for australia in 1837, james with wife isabella nee campbel, son abraham, another daughter was born at sea and they called her charlotte, sister betsey. another sister ann who married roderick mclean in 1824, they came out with james, also his mother Margaret nee mcnab, i cannot find a death date for husband abraham the father as he did not come to australia,
