42 High Street, St Andrews, Plymouth in 1872/3/4?
« on: Tuesday 07 November 06 10:40 GMT (UK) »

Hi

Would anyone have any ideas of how to find who was living at the above address in 1872/3/4 and 5 please?

I have recently found another William Gregory who died in the 3rd quarter of 1874 and wonder if he is mine and not the one I have been trying to find after 1881!

Mine was certainly at the above address with his wife Hannah in the 1871 census so I wondered if I could track him down viz this means and if he is still there in 1874 then it isn't him!

Hannah says she is widowed in 1881 but I found a William who matched elsewhere so maybe I am on the wrong track.

Before I send off for the certificate I'd like to see if I can work out if I am on the right track.

Thanks for any help given.
