I am researching the Toplis family in Nottingham.
My Gfather married Matilda Emma Toplis in 1876 in Chelsea Middlesex.
Matilda's birth certificate shows registration of her birth in Radford, subdistrict Snenton, in 1841.
Her parents Robert Toplis & Mary Ann Toplis (formerly Wardle), residence - Manvers (?writing not too clear) Street.
Any help much appreciated.
