PLEASE CAN SOMEONE SORT MY WEBSITE
« Reply #15 on: Sunday 12 November 06 16:41 GMT (UK) »

Things have gone from bad to worse and no matter which address I use, either andersons.rootschat'andersons.rootschat.net or the single one I get page unavailable.  I'm sure it is something to do with my file manager which seems chaotic and incomprehensible (to me only I'm sure) I am having major surgery soon and hoped to see something on screen before I disappear into hospital.  Rosemary

As requested - in my webmanager I have two FOLDERS created by Genopro
one is 6.13MB marked drwxrwxrwx
one is 4.00 KB marked drwxr-xr-x
These were displayed on my website until I changed their names - since disappeared
IAs advised I changed their names in the manager to lowercase.
I have 3 html files all lower case
one called index.htmlhome.html
two just htmls
and 1 called robots txt (don't know where it came from!)
What do you think is wrong?
I have even tried to delete the whole thing to start again but these folders won't delete.

Hi Rosemary

Not sure if you've been working on your site this afternoon but I have just tried it and got the home page saying "Welcome to the Webpage of Andersons of Broughshane" along with a lovely photo of you both.

So don't despair, it is there and looking good - Well done but be warned, once you start this website stuff it never ends Grin Grin

Best wishes for your stay in hospital and hope you are not away too long.

Cheers

Dinie

As these are really about the same problem, I've merged the two threads.
