Beattie info required

I am looking for some information on Janet Agnes BEATTIE,a daughter to Ebenezer Beattie & Sarah Crosbie Johnston(e).
I am assuming DOB would be about 1888 + - believe that she may have been born in the Dumfries area.

Hiya,

I don't know if you have tried this website:

http://www.scotlandspeople.gov.uk/

Unfortunately it isn't free   but it is much cheaper than getting english/welsh records.

It has all Death registry from 1855 to 1954 as well as births (1855-1904)  and marriages (1855 - 1928).

With the scottish records it is worth the price (£1.20, £1 for image 20p for search results) and if the informant knew the information it should give you the parents names of the deceased.

I hope this helps and sorry I don't know how to get the info for free.
