Hi Guys....
I am asking for help looking for the Robarts family. There is a baptism on IGI for a Walter Roberts 1715 that is extracted not submitted for Ridlington. It has his parents as Walter Roberts & Catherine .
The name mixes between Robert & Robarts.
His son has children in Uppingham 1771 - 1789 .
I know it is a big ask but does anyone have access to the parish records for the two places ?
If so I will give you all the details I have on the family in full.

Sorry for the delay. Not having a great deal of luck finding Roberts/Robards/Robarts especially in the 1715 window.
All ex Uppingham parish fiche records:
Katherine Roberts(entry) Robarts (signature) married Joseph Dean both OTP on 31 October 1774. Banns 2,9,16 October. witness William Robarts.
Mary daughter of John Robarts baptised 2? (poss 23) February 1713.
Have located children of Walter Roberts you mention in Uppingham in 1770-1778. Have not searched post 1778 yet.
Walter son of Walter Roberts the younger baptised 20 December 1772.
Christopher son of Walter and Elizabeth Roberts baptised 10 February 1775.
William son of Walter and Elizabeth Roberts baptised 14 July 1777.
All the children of Walter and Elizabeth appear to be well recorded on IGI.
Elizabeth daughter of Thomas Roberts of Lidington and Sarah his wife baptised 19 November 1746.
As per you offer you might need to give me a heads up with a few details of the individuals you wish to pinpoint.

John son of John and Mary Robarts baptised 25? March 1707
Job? son of John Robarts was born August 1711.
(V difficult to see date)

AH HA... Lyddington should have guessed! Lyddington Bede house what is left of the palace of the bishops of Lincoln...!
It is alot closer to the Northants boarders than I was looking and we now spell it differently.

Yes please...is there any detail to Walter bapt 1715 son of Walter & Catherine at all. We are also interested in other Robarts/Roberts entries for Ridlington within that time frame.
This is the tree of my friend who so far has been amazed at what the guys on here have been able to help with.
Any clues would be a great help.

Hi Laura.......
Thank you so much for the info and also the new spelling to look out for...we had wondered about couple of Robards that did not seem to fit but maybe they will come into play now.The pre 1700's are all new to me so I will need to write it all out.
I have given my friend the info that I have found to date and she had a good cry over it all it would be great to go back a little further so more investigation I think.
Many thanks for your help and maybe I can call on you if I need any help in Riddlington PR's.
Anything in Beds or Bucks let me know.
