Hi Yogibear,

There's a likely marriage on FreeBMD in Stamford 1873 Cheesy

Edit: I now see there are 2 John Wrights born ca. 1852 Stamford according to 1881, and this one may not be yours - his christening is on the IGI at he's plain John  ... his marriage cert will help identify him. Though I wonder where the 2nd one is hiding before 1881 Huh

This looks a good bet for John Henry in 1861:
RG9/2312 93 7
Lincoln St John
St Johns Street

John Wright, head, 43, Ironmonger, b. Northampton Upton
Betsy, wife, 42, b. Lincoln Stamford
Thomas, son, 11, scholar, b. do.
John, son, 9, scholar, b. do.
Betsy, dau, 8, scholar, b. do.
Fanny, dau, 6, scholar, b. do.
Frederick, son, 3, b. do.
Amy, dau, 1, b. do.
Sarah Hesset?, gover, unm, 18, Governess, b. do.
Edith? Woodhall, serv, 19, House maid, b. do.
